First release
The strangest thing I've found about game design so far is the time it takes for the most surprising things. Coding a script, you expect it to take a while because coding is hard . But the scripts I have so far, they were child's play compared to one thing that you've already seen.
The layout of the player's home.
I know, it seems that it should be easy. A bed, a bath, a kitchenette and voila, you've got a home. And you would, on the surface of things, be right. That still did not change the fact that it took seven iterations of the home before I found something I was vaguely happy with. And that's what you've got so far, the home. Now, I've also been working on a few other buildings, ones that will be in the next demo release. And hopefully, with just one or two more releases, I'll have something more closely related to a game, rather than an interactive painting.
